safety

Jordan Construction is an award-winning leader in safety practices, believing that the highest quality comes from accident free job sites.

Our proactive approach to measuring safety practices is focused not only on industry standards, but on company-based indicators, guaranteeing high-level safety performance. We actively train our employees on the latest safety practices, regularly award their performances and utilize leading indicators to measure performance and detect areas in need of improvement. Each month the vice president for risk management evaluates safety reports to determine if each job is performing up to expectations and to identify potential areas where subcontractors may need extra training.

quality

Jordan Construction’s quality program revolves around one simple philosophy: doing it right the first time.

We have instituted the QualityNet program, which is an inspection process at all preconstruction phases to identify potential defects before they can occur. This process gives the project management team the ability to track job progress and gives superintendents the tools to track subcontractor quality performance. We only work with qualified subcontractors with excellent quality and safety ratings.

wellness

Jordan Construction’s safety and quality performances are directly tied to our wellness program, “Five Minutes to Power.”

Everyday, team leads receive email messages with helpful information about wellness and health. This program applies to all Jordan Construction personnel, from each job site to the main office. The program was implemented to educate and motivate employees, offering help with stress management, weight loss, smoking cessation, fatigue and other health related issues. In addition to the health rewards, “Five Minutes to Power” creates a team environment, with employees working together every day for a common goal, leading to higher morale and safer job site.
